In August, Bula Festival is celebrated in Nadi. 'Bula' means 'Hello' in Fiji. It is one of leading festival in Fiji. They sell foods and goods, parade, go on a ride, and have Miss Bula Beauty pageant. It is jouus festival.
In September, Sugar Festival, which is held to let people know about their representative industry, sugar cane, is celebrated in Viti Leyu. Viti Leyu is an island in the Lautoka. Lautoka also earn the epithet 'Sugar City' because of their sugar cane production. This festival started in 1961 and held every year.
